Amended CC/CDC

If you wish to make any changes to your approved plans after the CC/CDC have already been approved you will be required to obtain an Amended CC/CDC. Please note that there will be additional fees application for any Amended CC/CDC.

Below are the steps you will need to take for each application.

Amended Construction Certificate

  1. Amended DA: Obtain a Section 4.55 Modification from Council via the NSW Planning Portal (fees may be applicable). Submit a Development Application
  2. Amended CC: Once approved, lodge an Amened Construction Certificate application via the NSW Planning Portal and upload the Section 4.55 Modification & stamped plans. Submit an application for a Construction Certificate (CC)
  3. Assessment: Once SBAC has received the Amended CC Portal Lodgement and full payment of the Invoice, the certifier will assess all documents and provide you with an “Additional Information Checklist” via the NSW Planning Portal. This checklist will let
    you know of any further documentation that is required in order to have the Amended Construction Certificate approved.
  4. Approval: Once everything has been provided then the Amended Construction Certificate will be approved.

 

Note: Although you already have approval to commence construction from the original Construction Certificate, works relating to the Section 4.55 Modification cannot commence until the Amended Construction Certificate has been issued/approved.

Amended Complying Development Certificate

  1. Portal Lodgement: You will be required to lodge an Amended Complying Development Certificate application through the NSW Planning Portal using the account you have already created. When uploaded all of the documents it is best to upload as many as possible, however the following must be uploaded in order for the certifier to even begin assessment:

Assessment: Once SBAC has received the Amended CDC Portal Lodgement and full payment of the Invoice, the certifier will assess all documents and provide you with an “Additional Information Checklist” via the NSW Planning Portal. This checklist will let you know of any further documentation that is required in order to have the Amended CDC approved.
  3. Approval: Once everything has been provided then the Amended CDC will be approved.

Note: Although you already have approval to commence construction from the original Complying Development Certificate, works relating to the Modification cannot commence until the Amended CDC has been issued/approved.
